Today I sat at my computer,
Slowly flicking through images.
Images of people who were once friends,
And once shared laughter,
But now are only memories.
With each slow click,
It brought so much flooding back.
Memories of wonderful times
Filled with laughter and smiles,
And moments we swore we wouldn't forget.
Those moments have all left me,
Alone and cold,
Scared that I may never experience
Such joy again.
As thoughts begin to fill my head,
I ask,
What happened to us?
The inserperable ones
Who grew apart as they grew up.
And it makes me wonder....
Why we said good-bye.
