Though light glow,
& darkness fall,
though rain shine,
or snow float down,
and though my ears whine
or heart one day be still,
without you I be chill,
and with you I know fire.
One day we'll be gone,
One night life will sever
from the branch drop fruit
no thing will live forever.
I think upon this life,
I think on toward death,
I dream, I laugh, I cry,
but cherish every breath.

I liked the subtle rhyme in here. Wasn't in your face and worked very well when considering the content of the poem. It had a great flow from beginning to end, which I appreciated. Thanks for your entry.
