Little Moments (Driving)

Another adventure of mindless will
Cruising through the surrounding hills
In a truck coloured of golden sand
Our lungs taking in our environment
Of smiles, music, and mountain air

Our voices rising and falling
(Much like the winding roads)
With the pitch of the playing music
One voice rising to take the lead
“Well General Taylor He Gained The Day”

Feeling a sarcastic glow beside me
I turn my head to see my friend
He sits there with a smile on his face
His childish behavior exposed
Flashing that ever favored finger

Fondly I smile back at him
Returning the gesture in hand
Forgetting about the music
We begin to laugh uncontrollably
It’s these little moments I live for

Life-Unknown
Alexander
