The poet’s call.

Missing image
I gather words,
for a seasonal secret elixir,
something to savour anytime.
The moon shows compassion,
throwing silver glows,
on my bed from the narrow window.
Words bounce, rejoice,
within candle light,
swirl new lines, into
dreams combination.
I have piles of them
in my mind, captive,
they keep my soul warm,
as I sew patchwork blankets with zeal.
In the diversity of colours
is the invitation to poets'
graceful company.
Language’s miracles
never surrender to solitude.
As glitter floats on feathery lines
poets exhilarate and dance
create infinity of  moves.
There is no foolishness,
in making allegiance,
with celestial inspiration.
Vulnerability is only an appearance
as insomnia takes my body
into love melancholy,
lullabies are transformed,
my voice sings new poetry
every night, changes reality,
and I salute my angels my muse
for their soothing embrace.

A beautiful piece of poetry that captures the true essence of a poets soul. The imagery is profoundly detailed without using way too many words and I really applaud someone who can do that. Excellent metaphors capture a true beauty. Well done and many thanks for entering.
