Running around in my head,
Touching everything around me.
The world is coming to a close,
it's swirling in towards me.
I wake up to a bright ferocious light.
It's blinding to the eyes of darkness.
My mind that was once blank
begins to fill with questions about me:
Where I am, What I am doing, Who is near me?
The only thing I can see
is the blinding, now glittering, light.
Darkness again. What is happening?
The difference this time, is I feel a poking.
It is moving up my body,
from my feet to my head,
until finally, it pricks my ear.
I open my eyes to see a great fire,
Although, it is not hot around it.
Touching it, I feel the pain
of the fir's hotness.
A sudden shock, I fall backwards,
Darkness in me once again.
It feels like a thousand years
before my eyes are open again.
I call to mind once I open my eyes,
I am finally back on earth.
Remember the hard hit on my head
I realize I have visited Heaven and Hell.
