Grey-blue child
Dark,forboding
Soft like velvet, clear as milk
Welcomed only by the desperate
Bringing hope and fear
Not so terrible as black
Hightening green, providing contrast
Always wet and stinging
Never repelling, arms wide open
Warm summer evenings spent together
Willing to give anyone a try
So long as they can stand the rain
Author notes
I don't know who I am writing this poem for. It is is basically a mix of describing my favorite color, my eyes, and one of the many storms we had over the summer.
