This is all wrong
There isn’t enough space in
pages and nighttime intelligence
dissolves in seconds of
Realization
It’s all the same
He’ll wake up one day
Turn your face over
In his hands
And not recognize your
Eyes. And you
Will feel
Stabbed. Sucking
For
Air.
Realizing you
Lost to
His sad voice
Haikus and giggle
Over silly
Baby talk
When you could have been
Searching with a flashlight
Clamped to your brain
Illustrating Kafka and Proust
Becoming the genius your grandfather
Saluted you to be
No. you’ll be pillow stuffing
Your cries. Biting the dark.
Because its all gone away. And
Now. You’ll be the
One Dirge weeping
To the good bye of your
Intellect under
The impression of a boyfriend’s thumb
On your heart
Please tell me what you think

Beautiful work. This is fantastic. I love the line breaks - it adds a faster flow to it all.
"recognize your eyes" - this line has great internal rhyme as well as a great concept. Love it!
