Ant Medicine

Missing image

Spirit of selflessness
Tell me your secret
Of how to get rid of egoism
So I may serve the Greater Good

Spirit of endurance
Give me the strength
To carry my heavy burden
Without complaint

Spirit of humility
Show me how to
Surrender my selfish will
To Divine Will

Spirit of self-sacrifice
Guide me on my path
So I may walk this Earth
With Determination

Spirit of patience
Inspire my words
And transform my deeds
Into a Source of Blessings

Once again dear sister you have brought to light the power and beauty of the Ant. Such a tiny creature yet posses a wonderment of medicine that can teach the grandest of lessons throughout life. Isn't it amazing how the smallest of creatures can teach so much in life if we just stop to listen and learn. Thank you for entering and good luck!

    Blessings

This is a lovely poem full of respect for the little ant which so many in their walk on earth trample mercilessly. Even that tiny being must have dreams, desires, hunger, thirst and other feelings. Your poem is beautiful and honours this little being of God's creation beautifully. Wonderful imagery, assonance and alliteration here. My favourite stanza is #2

    All the best,
    Charishma

Your humble beauty inspires us all to greater Silence.
Thank you for seeing the lessons in our words and reflecting them back to us. In this way we may see ourselves as clearly as others do.

incredible, this morning, while having tea with jean-marc, I said to him : "you know, the world is just a reflection of our inner state of mind ... if we realize the beauty and love that we are, the world will smile at us !"
you must have read my thoughts, dear brother ... or is it me who has read yours ?
a most wonderful example of interconnectedness ...
      much love,
      marion

This is truly an awe-inspiring write..I have thoroughly enjoyed it..and found myself reaching to the heavens with outstretched arms as I re-read this...extremely enjoyable...sometimes, we have to look past our pity, self-loathing, pain to become one and stand against all and focus our attention to else....great write...good luck!

yes, I was sure that you would relate to this prayer, since your path is one of selfless service and self-sacrifice ... you are already manifesting these qualities, while I have yet to integrate them ... associating with souls like you will hopefully infuse me with these gifts ...
      thank you, my friend,

      marion
