You stayed by me no matter what
You were there for me when I needed you
You helped me stand
When I couldn't get back up by myself
You wiped away my tears
And hugged me till I felt safe
You're one of the only people in the world
Who can relate to what I've been through
And always take the time to listen
Even through our ups and downs
We still remained best friends
You got involved in something you didn't have to
For the simple fact
That I couldn't face it alone
You can put how I'm feeling into words
And I'm amazed by how close we came
You started off as someone I hated
You hated me too
A forced friendship
That I'm not sure I could live without now
I don't know if I've ever said this to you
But thank you
You have helped me so much
Your one of my best friends
Part of my family now
