Is this my road to the future,
as I endure this constant scrutiny?
I feel liberty for life
running dry.
Have I been born ahead of my time?
My feathers are caged.

Stunning
This short poem is filled with so much - frustration, pain, need. It does create quite an impact and sometimes the best poem is the one that actually needs no picture to make one see.
Let the ink flow and your fingers dance

these words fit the picture so well, but more than that they seem to be words and or questions that I am sure many of us have aked at one time or another while feeling the judging eyes of scrutiny upon us. Best wishes in the contest...I liked this one
