This burning sensation

I burned your memory right out of my flesh
But when I burned my flesh
I felt no pain
No pain from any thing
Not even our good-byes
This burning sensation still lingers here on my wrists
Wishing it would just go and leave me alone
In my black despair
In the darkest dreams of my mind
I just see you
You look at me with those eyes
Your eyes that I wish so badly would just fade from my memory
But they're still here
Along with this burning sensation on my wrists
