Sitting on the ocean sand,
My skin glows.
You wrap your arms,
The mystical necklace I call love
Around me.
Why can't we just stay....
Stay here forever?
Like this....
Time is just a figment of our imagination
The waves, they thunderously crash
And remind me of the bad times.
The fights, the yelling,
The leaving...
But suddenly, all is calm
And my mind
Comes back to
The present.
For now, I am happy
To be sitting here
With you.....
Right now. (For time is just a figment of our imagination).
Though the dawn may be coming soon,
There is still a little bit of time
To sit here with me
One last moment.
Remember,
Time is a figment of your imagination.
Spend that figment with me.

I really liked this. it isn't a classic love poem. It reminds me of being on a beach sipping margaritas. but this was really good. Thanx for looking at my poem!

This is really great. One of my favorites! Great job!

Very moving, heartfelt, it has a touch of
longing as well. Doesn't want the moment
to end, but to suspend time, to capture a
magic again and again. Lovely. -
Whoa! This was very beautiful! Thank you for sharing it!
I wish that I was sitting there on the beach with Randy!
Ahh how magical that would be!
Anyhow nicely penned! *sonya*
