For six years I have been clean,
Away from the addictions,
Which ravaged me.
Injecting Heroin,
Licking Crack.
Selling myself,
To buy all that.
But that, unfortunately,
Was near the end.
My love for drugs,
started before then.
Smoking fags,
Skinning up spliffs,
Taking acid, and stuff like this.
I was only a teenage girl,
Got thrown into an adult world.
Attending parties,
Having fun,
Swapping sex for coke,
With anyone.
I grew up thinking,
It's just part of life,
Living each day,
To get high.
Then one day
I was not satisfied.
So dickhead me,
Gave smack and crack a try.
For six years,
I fought against this choice.
Then got blessed, had a chance,
Got pregnant with my boy.
My son is my saviour,
And now I am free.
Away from the addictions,
Which ravaged me.

this is a brilliant write showing that you can get away from all the bad things in life eventually ... one question and this is going to make me look dumb but what is Skinning up spliffs,?
this is a fantastic write and has images that you would one day hope to forget. i wish you and your son a very happy life.

I can so relate I had a sister who was addicted to crack and it took her getting pregnant to come off of it. She has been clean now for 9 years and has a healthy little girl and little boy now. What a wonderful write, and if this is true I am so proud of you. Excellent flow and write
