Step Up Step In

I don't like war
I know that it is wrong
Be yet so many
Still step up, step in

So when if ever is war right
When a leader of a country
Kills ten Thousand or Even More
Maybe a Hundred Thousand or a Million
What does it take for you to Step up, Step in

Maybe it's religion
If they Kill Christains, Muslims
Budist, or Hindu's does it matter to you
Because it doesn't to the hero's call soldiers
When asked they step up, Step in

When Saddam Killed Kurds
That was nationality
Was that ok, you tell me
Some will never step up, step in
They say that peace, is the only way

When they come to your country
And start to kill your friends
Maybe then they will step up, step in
But until then feel safe
The soldiers of the world have your back
Becuase they have already stepped up and stepped in

Author notes

I often wonder if the peace activates really understand world affairs, The Leaders that are wiping out total religions and Nationalities are not nice people and they are not going to listen to words.

There will always be the debate whether war is right or wrong. My mother always said that two wrongs don't make a right. However, things are different when it comes to world affairs. Power, control and greed are huge motivators and when involved require drastic measures. We are thankful that we have soldiers who fight for what they believe in...protecting all that is good.

    excellent

BRAVO BRAVO, SO RIGHT ON THE MARK, how do you turn you back on something like this, I think back on images of WWII, pictures I saw in a book when I was very young, the images still burnt into my mind of piles of Jews lying in enormous holes (mass graves), that injustice was at the hand of a mad man who condemned not only citizens of his own country but also the world, so if these heros had not stepped up and stepped in, where would this injustice have lead? Cause in my opinion a leader who would do that to his own people will try to take on the world sooner or later. So is war the right answer, not in all cases more like the last resort. I like you don't like war, but when do you decide to step up and step in sooner or later? Fantastic, Fantastic write!!!
