Last lent, Laura and Lester
lest they lost their luster,
lamented at the loss of
their loyal little lamb.
At the loss of the lamb
They languished on
their laurels lamenting,
lounging on the lawn.
So they lost their laugh
at the loss of their
loyal little lamb.

I must say, that's quite a tongue twister
And you take the cake. Er, uh, I mean the gold. Well done!
-

hehe... thank you

Wonderful!
I said it over and over again and I still can't get it!
Which shows it works
It would be something I will read to my kids if I have some, it seems sweet and innocent
I makes me happy to read it, reminds me of nursery
This is also different from the usual and shows off a brilliant vocabulary
Oooh, get you!
Well done and thanks for entering
Good luck

What a great tongue twister. Have not tried one for years. My grandmother always challenged us with them, what a laugh that was. Still can't do them. LOL
Great fun and memories here.
Thank you for that!

Amera,
ya know, after some of the 'stuff' I have run into on AP, this is quite refreshing and of course great for the young ones. This part;
They languished on
their laurels lamenting,
lounging on the lawn.
Brings a smile to my face from a personal incident many, many years back.
A great memory for me, always shall be.
thks

Whall now Amera you all American Gal ...
lingering on loss turns laughter to lamentation
Let's lift the spirits of Laura and Lester by lending them a loving ear.
Loved this!

OK. I Will...
LOL. Long lost lamb (Lola Lollipop) lollied lazily home. Laura and lester of lost luster laughed and leapt with love at their long lost lamb's lucky liberation. Later, Laura, Lester, Lola Lollipop and lots of lovely lambs, lasses, ladies, and Lilliputians labored lively lugging logs and lumber to line the lane in lattice and lock the lambs in a long lazy lilting labyrinth loop. Lovely!
Three Loving Leporidaes for the lovely lady!

Be good Allan! Your comments are better than the poems. You crack me up.

Lovely!
No I am not going to comment with all L’s
I love these tongue twisters… They to lay laboriously on my “little” lips.
Your structure is quite good (liquid)
Loving Princess (as I do) this make me not want to rest on my laurels!
Bravo, Your Love no-so-little Prince!
