My greatest freedom
is knowing
that in all my insufficiency
You accept me.
My greatest happiness
is realizing
that accepting my inadequacy
in light of a perfect Father
breaks all my chains
of shame
of darkness
of bondage.
How strange,
that my ability to live
is based on the knowledge
that I can never live alone!
Loose my bonds
break these chains
take my hand,
Teach me how
to touch the world.
Author notes
Ahh. I am note sure what I think of this poem. I wrote it the day before my 22nd birthday and it seems a little disjointed. I was just trying to express my gratitude to God...

Your coming full circle.....
in the fact you you know you can never live life alone , without the love of Christ to bring you through. I believe God gave you this message to bring you to that realization so I don't think this poem is disjointed at all!!!That in itself brings eternal freedom!! Thank you for entering our contest and good luck!!!!~~Jacen & Toni~~ -
Nicely done
These were your feelings and nothing to be asamed about or unsure, for they are your feelings and for that you did well, making your heartfelt expressions of self and love with the father. Thanks for sharing.
Jules.
