With my tears in my hand
I hold them up high
to see the sun shine bright in my eye.
But then the tears turn to blood
at the touch of my fingers
it runs down my arm
and it stays and it lingers.
I can't take the pain
this pain that you caused
its just too much to take
you're driving me insane.
How can I love you
even if you say it back
it tears my heart in two
and then paints it black.
for you I would give up
my entire world
but when you lie to me
it makes my skin tremble and curl.
And for you to just abandon me
is totally out of place.
Just tell me you don't mean it
and I'll be gone with no trace.
Tell me what you want
not what I want to hear
tell me the truth
even if it brings me to tears.
So for now I'll just sit
and play my sweet music,
then right a song about you
so you can sing and abuse it.

Excellent Poem !
This Poem that you wrote is a very true statement for all of us woman who have been Hurt and Torn apart by a Man that they are or have been in Love with. You hit the nail on the head with this poem, as to how we all feel and letting everyone else know that we are all tired of just being used. You did a great job on this poem . I hope to read more of your poems soon.
