Blushed and porcelain
upon pedestal - today
with the first frost;
contrary to a final maiden's saunter.
Flame sways for keen eyes;
beckons two gilt bands - static.
Mutter for mutter - coupled -
a sweep of pink petals.
Promenade and painted flecks...
Flash -
- fountain for nostalgia.

Sorry your other contest didn't work out.
I have nothing on that subject, so this will have to do I'm afraid.

You mean, wondered where I/he/she/them/us will be in x years? Or something of that sort? Yes... all the time... even since I was young, which some tell me is strange. I always wonder who will be looking back upon me... or upon those I presently view.
Well done, then.
Good luck in your future works!

wow sweetie
this is great!
beautiful! -
i've been married a few times and have kept pictures of the weddings. i look at them occasionally and it's like i don't even know that girl... so much has changed...
i admire the economy of words in this... very good

why would anyone want to put up with the same idiot and not be able to walk away is not human nature ...
to put up with abuse and being insulted to take away your confidence in who you are..... to be controlled .....worst day of my life. am happy you can look at wedding photos an be nostalgic guess that is the other side of the street.Your lines flow and for many your will reach their emotional 'fountain for nostalgia' thank you for the read

My goodness yes. definitely something you always wonder about. Good Job

ok...I am not sure I understand this, an author's note would be helpful for those of us without a clue, to me it says it is too cold for a woman to be walking, yet she is looking for someone she loves then I am lost on line 9, 10, and 11. I see there have been views and no comments and I am wondering if I am not the only one.
