for a moments time we were so close
we were so near, him and me
then he got up, said "I've got to go"
and left me for the sea
he said it was to save my life
but it hasn't saved my heart
after all, I was almost his wife
and please do death not us part
it took me a while to finaly know
what his eyes were so fast on
he looked away from the window
said, "keep a weather eye on the horizon"
