take off your fashion clothes
peel away the glamour
this is who you really are
lying and hoping that the world
buys the act that your selling
try to convince yourself
everyday this is who you are
read through the script in your head
how to act, what to say
you can kid the world
but never yourself

This poem is so completely true. Everyone tries to hide somethings in their life. I might be something as simple as hiding an exboyfriend from your current boyfriend or as complicated as hiding a major part of your past from the one person you want to be your future.

the truth does hurt sometimes .. but we never have to be like anyone else .. even if the truth hurts, face it nd deal with it, coz non of us is perfect, we all hv issues nd all we need is to hv a high self-esteem that no one can brings us down ..
i like how u started it nd end it with the same verse.. i like the chorus too! actually its all goody !!
