the Dance With Music

        Hold me close in a warm lovers embrace,

let the music softly play.

 

        The symphony of our hearts beat,

perfect in time.

 

        Hum the notes to lifes rhyme

and we shall stop the hands of time.

play your music as our bodies sway.

 

        Sing to my heart with feather kisses,

dance with me to loves rhythm.

 

        The melody as old as time,

yet still as sweet ,when played, by my lovers hand.

    The last lines kinda set it off for me, but besides that I thought this was beautiful and you definetly painted a picture in my head there... Very nice and good luck in my contest.

    Would be hard from a man's point of view to play perfect music whilst preocupied with a lustful embrace, like in the pic...
    I find beautifully composed music and 'making love' have a lot in common. You have placed the two of these together in a great harmony of poetic justice.
    Very enjoyable indeed.

    Wow... what a picture you have there to be insprired by! But you captured the moment with your words and did a wonderful job at it. I like your style, although this is only the second poem of yours that I've read. Flowed endlessly together and I thought the moment of life and love was portrayed beautifully here.     ... I really enjoyed reading this poem. One thing I noticed though is just one of your couplets rhymed while the other did. I am not sure if that was suppose to be like that, but I was just wondering. Anyhow, this was very beautiful. Where do you get your pictures if I might ask? P.S. you've been hoodwinked. Kassie
