The Sword's Edge

In a world of blood and hatred,
You fight just to survive,
But slowly as the fights get worse,
You now fight for your life.

No other person matters,
And no one else will care,
As you fight them all with vengeance,
Anger, hatred and despair.

For you were once like they were,
Weak and pushed around,
Until that day that you pushed back,
And spilled their blood upon the ground.

You walk upon the sword’s edge,
But be wary where you stray,
For if you show the sword no respect,
In your own blood you will pay.

    Splendid!

Awsome rhyming. I love what you've done with this one. It saddens me that these types of poems are not as prominent in poetry literature as they are on the internet.
