Each night is a closure

 

Reflections help us grow
While hiding stumbles

 

Darkness tries to conquer
Truth brings completion
Overseeing fears
The strong stands forth

 

Seeing inside means

We Can
Therefore We Do
We have reached

    This poem makes me feel blessed that each day I have a "new chapter" to scribe in my novel of life. It is what I choose to do with this gift that will be my testament as to how I've lived. This is a thought-provoking work. I love the use of personification in this write Poet. Excellent!

    I'm more than pleased to see you writing more Kari. I'm seeing movement towards something...or am I seeing too much? I don't think I am. I like what I see though, and I'm hoping to see more growth as you move towards that which you really desire...I hope you attain that which you seek with all due speed

      Hopefully you will see more. Lately I've just been doing writes whenever the spirit leads me and most of the time I feel like it's not even me doing it but like someone got my hand and started writing for me

    I am at a loss of words... I really like how you

    This is quite a deep and compelling poem, Kari. I never thought of each day being a new chapter of our lives, but on pondering that thought, you're right. I think I'll read this every once in awhile just to help keep my life in perspective. The second stanza says it all in a nutshell.

    You did a great job with this, much wisdom radiates throughout this piece
