I thought you loved me
i loved you too
yet you hit
and beat me
and wouldn't stop
i remember crying at night
and if you caught me you'd try to sooth my fright
i didn't want you to leave
yet i wanted it to stop
and when i'd wake up
you have something new
to blame on me
that you that i'd do
you'd screamed
and yelled
and throw things too
yet when i threw back
you acted like you were the one abused
my brothers found out
and so did my dad
yet i pleaded
for them to stop
to stop from beating

and which i didn't


the day that i left
you said you'd die
yet your not dead yet
so what was wrong with me saying goodbye
you had me wrapped around your little finger

and you didn't stop

and you got jealous
