My All Consuming Pain and Anguish

The tears are never ending now it seems,
My heart isn't in pieces it is simply broken,
Ripped out and left in the air to die,
Crying is somehow the only thing that helps.

His smile seemed out of place,
As he left the one he loves for reasons,
That it would seem even he doesn't understand,
And yet it has happened.

After seven long years the struggle went on,
Fought to stay together through everything,
And now the battle has ended,
He thinks he is doing her a favor.

Whispering softly in her ear,
He asks her to move on and forget him now,
But the memory is the one thing she has left,
As he walked away and left her heart gone.

Her pain is all consuming and never ending,
He was the one that made her smile and laugh,
Even if he was so far away,
He was her best friend, so close and dear to heart.

One of her friends understands,
The other one can't even come close to knowing,
She feels empty inside and doesn't want to move,
Yet the world around her demands she does.

I am completely pulled apart.
