This was well done. It was simple and profound, but I must admit, it just isn't what I was looking for. It's nothing against the poem, but it didn't really hit me. I hope you enter future contests though!

if you spread the pieces out enough to be unrecognizeable, mayhaps no one will try to put the sharp edges back together and cause more injury...
