Last night I wished upon a star.
Wished to feel your heart beat beneath mine.
Yesterday I cried to the heavens.
Begged to finally have your face within an arms reach.
Last week I had a dream we were together.
We were hugging, forever, that's all.
Nothing exotic, nothing beyond reality.
We just were.
Last month I asked you, silently,
with my heart,
for another month of this bliss.
And you gave it so willingly,
so perfectly,
silently with your heart.
Last year...
I cried inside and out.
I needed someone like you.
And you came, when I least expected it.
You came and now I am myself again.
