Twenty hours a day, we worked,
We'd heeve and we would "ho!"
Pulling up the topsail,
'Cause the wind was strong below,

Climb the shrouds of mizzle mast,
And swab the bloody deck,
Taking on a Man Of War,
And cutting through it's neck,

Arm the cannons! Load the guns!
Drink your bloody rum!
We'll set sail to Tortuga,
And we'll drink our arses dumb!

One hundred-pence a woman,
And fifty-pence a drink,
We'll spend it 'cause it's worth it,
It'll be gone before you blink,

A week full of debauchery,
We're drunk lecherous scum!

We'll seige three ships a day,
And we'll take a fort of week,
Port Royal could not stop us,
Even if they meant to seek!

"Weigh anchor!" calls our captain,
