It Hurts

Empty fillers of star light
Echo in between the whispers
Cutter no, that can’t happen
What can you do?

Nothing

Love sometimes dies in the beginning
Girl
Don’t sit here waiting for the ringing to start
Not everything falls into place
The way you wish it
Red blushes the floor
And promises are forgotten
He doesn’t understand the secrets kept
Are the ones
Most damaging
We laugh
But there’s sickness there
Freakish pink lines dripping
Down
          Below
                      Underneath

……….it hurts. Life, it hurts.

Please tell me what you think

Pretty much everything is beyond our control hun, life is a matter of actions and reactions and the only thing we really control is ourself and our REactions the theirs and the world's actions. Once we see this we no longer seek to control, but only to live...to simply "be". Then anything good that comes is a bonified bonus...

Life does hurt, but not always. There is alot of joy to be found in the simplest things. Are you a cutter? It sounds like what you are describing. Great job on the poem.
