I bend
to your will
for to stand against
would be my folly
as you scream
intention
with veracity
ferocious and determined
yet there are times
when you caress me gently
as I peel back
layers of myself
used to protect
you hold power
in each whispered breath
lying hushed
to lull me gently
into false security
at times
whipping with force
sweeping pain
adding to my discontent
creating waves of emotion
bringing dreams of love
or burying them in dirt
as sand whips tears to my eyes
you are the wind
filled with mastery
cursed by the need to
dominate in extreme
and I am but a leaf
blowing about
in the cyclone of emotions
that you churn within
I try hard
to wait out the storm
as I turn my back
against the weight
of raging anger
knowing that the you
I loved exists
under the wind
in the quiet depths
and as the sun brightens
your smile captures my heart
your soft breath
kisses my face
and I love you
all the more

This is just lovely, love on a breeze, a wind that brings someone home. It's a lovely thought. Brilliant.
