Ever get that feeling deep down inside that
drives you to picking up that blade and looking
at the vein in your arm or feeling for the juglar
in your neck? I do lately feel that way
I want to die and die I shall do once there
are no eyes upon me. Drift downward into
eternal sleep praying for the lord
to keep my soul safe within his arms
safe from any further harm.
Do you ever feel this way
but can't because you are
eternally watched and carefully
tended to. I want to go to my eternal
sleep I am tired of the dreamfilled nights
and the sleepless tired days that
you wade through to got to another night
filled with nightmares and horrors to go t
through another day of mindless fears
and depression. I want to sleep, I want
all this to go away for now and forever
I am tired of fighting, tired of trying
tired of loosing.

I can relate to this writing, especially the line 'I am tired of fighting, tired of trying'. When you just want it to end and everything is black and you 'want all this to go away now and forever'. This is a very good description of depression.
I hope the sunshine rests on your face and pulls you into the light sometimes. Thank you for sharing this. The title hits you between the eyes.........

It's very good. Certainly dark. Well done with this.

To give up the fight, in some, is a sign of fear, a fear of not knowing what you need to do to survive, to tire of trying, is to surrender to what you do not understand, and your biggest loss would be to tire into a sleep, a sleep of which no awakening would come. Those watchful eyes are your allies, your friends, your saviours. They are doing what your lord is asking them too, and in return, is keeping you from further harm. untie those blinkered eyes, through away the blindfold of your anger towards your sorrows and nightmares, and stand up, stand strong, for you will not engage your enemies sitting down in a corner. mankind has an inbuilt insticnt to survive, and through your strength and commitment, you too will survive.
your write is deep, but not as deep as the sleep you talk off. for that there is no return.
