Mercilessly bound to the ground
I silently scream to the heavens,
Sitting upon a hilltop
I pray alone to become undone,
Caressing my aching body
A gentle wind grabs hold my hand,
Flying upon the wings of the air
I am set free by this wind

Flying upon the wings of the air
I am set free by this wind
Those are great thoughts! Sometimes it does indeed feel as if the wind frees us from certain thoughts, emotions and even painful memories when we relinguish them to its powerful force.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to enter my contest. Good luck!
