one word was all that was to be heard
but it was carried away swiftly by the wind
softly and quietly as if a secret was to come

by the wind
I like those lines. They hold within them such a soft, alluring aura. The wind is such an amazing force. It can be as angry and fierce as a demon or as soft and tender as a lamb. The imagery here is wonderful.
