curtain call

By the count of ten
Her dance will end      4.

She had no answers
Cue the dancers          3.

By her own hand
Cue the band              2.

Bullet to the head
She is dead                1.

that is pretty creative... nice form.... not only can you read it backwards but possibly the best way ( my favorite anyway ) read 1, 2, 3, 4 first followed by bullet to the head, by her own hand, etc etc.. the message is clear but the design of the poem makes it what it is no doubt.

Wow, what a surprise little poem. As I was reading, I thought the numbers were part of the structure. Like, 4,3,2,1 BANG....that was sort of the mental impact. Cool poem.

I am a Thespian so, I had to read this one when I saw the title. Which, by the way is brilliant. The poem itself is dramatic. It has a flare that is most often found on stage. I love the way it is numbered, and the fact that it can be reade bottom to top and vice versa. Great job poet!

Wow, you wrote it backsward. How inventive. Great job on this piece, with such rhythm and ryhme and amazing power.
