Fire, Like Love

Water, like rain
Falls from her hands
Drenching the world in solitude.

Air, like wind
Cascades from her hair
Throwing everything all out of place.

Earth, like soil
Bleeds from her eyes
Masking all sight into darkness.

Fire, like love
Burns in her heart
Creating new dreams forged from laughter.

Good job sis! I really like the last stanza.

    Fire, like love
    Burns in her heart
Creating new dreams forged from laughter.

That really resonates with me for some reason. I love this piece. Great job, as always. Love ya!

Oooh! Very different than your usual form, sis! I like it a lot. And as always, it's a great and managable length. This has really great imagery, I can see it all! It inspires you to go and do something that involves elements. I liked how it was all tied into a person.

    You're such a great poet.

    Love,
