Mood Swing

Red roses in a swell of battered air.
Petals swirling as drops of blood.
Torn leaves all around.
The wedding's over.

Glasses sailing through the storm.
Shattered lenses on the ground.
Trampled frames.
The wedding's over.

Fists fly in a raging torrent.
Skin stained black and blue.
Shattered self.
The honeymoon's just begun.

Hope it gets an audience

I found this poem quite dark, with the title I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised- this was a good write I liked this, I found it was quite dark and frightening and the tenstion was increased by 'the honeymoon's just begun' which suggests a continuation to the dark imagery beyond the poetry. I liked your use of alliteration here
