Grain by grain, you see,
Each falling through the cay
To slowly sit and watch
As time surely slips away
With the setting of the sun,
Of warm tranquility
The dusting of the earth,
Grain by grain, you see
Where day turns to night,
And into dreams, we run
Praying for another day
With the setting of the sun
As blackness cloaks the heart and soul
Surrounded by eternal light
Each a cycle to rise and fall
Where day turns to night
So with the morning's new dawn rise,
As we feel complete and whole,
One more time the day will set
As blackness cloaks the heart and soul
In a list
Please tell me what you think

This is so dark and almost chilling. Darkness does try to take the light from our souls. Hope and faith is where the light is. Hold onto it. Never give up. Speak up before it steals you away. Hang in there.

Thanks Jeannie. Just some times I feel like everything is just withering away before my eyes, me included. And thougths running rampant through the mind. I have been so blocked in trying to write lately, and I think part of it is just because of how I feel lately. Appreciate your comments hun.
