Colors Of The Rainbow

Missing image
Each color of the rainbow,
blossoms a special memory.
A thought or a fragrance,
brings Grandma Daisy to me.

Pink is for the color,
of my first Easter dress.
Grandma said I looked like,
a beautiful princess.

I remember the bonnet,
and in its satin bow.
Was a bright yellow daisy,
as pretty as she'd grow.

Blue were the balloons,
for my favorite birthday.
Grandma baked the cake,
and joined us to play.

Green was her garden,
that filled her with pride.
Here we would talk,
in her I could confide.

Each color of the rainbow,
brings a smile to my face.
Every memory feels like,
Grandma's warm embrace.
