February Stars (Gold Trophy)

 

Three very special people

share this month of birth

To them we owe much gratitude

‘cuz we can celebrate with mirth

 

The stars shone extra brightly

the night that she was born

Twinklestareyes reflecting

the name that she has worn

 

There’s another fine lady

gazing ‘cross Aussie plains

She’s our own countrybabe

her poetic words remain

 

An angel born in this month

her presence we’re well aware

Since CharliesAngel joined us

to be too bad, we don’t dare

 

These three lovely ladies

as super as they are

Make February so great

a super month by far

 

So let’s all give a big hand

to those who gave us reason

To celebrate some birthdays

it’s really very pleasin’

 

Happy birthday to some wonderful partners in crime

    A great poem! Lincoln and Washington were also born in February.

    Great Work

    Its been awhile, but its good to know that you are still a great poet and active member in the AP comunity. This is definitely a unique poem, with very good imagery and poetic aura throughout about other dear members of the community. As for me, I have begun to slowly drift back to the AP community, I think this is where I belong, with my fellow poets in arms. It's nice to see you again, and hope to hear back from you soon!

    A nicer tribute could not be paid, it is nice to have such friends. Well done, and well turned, I liked the whole of it. Happy Birthday ALL, however late the wish come, or early.

    Great tribute, you always write lovely tributes for people and this one was no exception Good luck in the contest, this was a beautiful poem which rhymed well.

    My daughter, Rochelle had her 27th birthday on February 13th and my second grandson, Courtland had his on the 22nd of this month. My brand new grand-baby girl was born on February 4th of this year so, I have three beautiful people that celebrate along with this wonderful trio of ladies. Dee you are a gem to give this beautiful tribute. What a great birthday gift.

      You have a lot family birthdays this month, I see. I do to, my first child, Norman was born on the 1st, also my adopted brother Lloyd on the 16th, my sister Donna on the 28th (who unfortunatly passed away at the young age of 18) my granddaughter Amanda on the 27th, I know there's more but I've been awake only a little while and my brain isn't quite functional yet

    Ah now I’m sure I missed your amazing poems! I’m glad to have this chance to read them again. And now I see this sweet birthday-poem.. something that everyone wishes to receive! I’m sure these three ladies will be all smiling after reading this. Such a sweet person you are for your friends!
