Psychopomp psilosophers
impluvious with invisible soul-tears
transporting nyctophobiacs praising darkness from afar…
In the scrippage are valpulatory implements
to atone for the passenger's hideous gluosity.
Author notes
psychopomp- someone who leads souls to the place of the dead
psilosopher- a shallow philosopher
impluvious- drenched
nyctophobia- fear of the dark
scrippage- baggage
valpulatory- flogging
gluosity- gluttony
'soul-tears' is one word...

Move's along well as a poem. Word roots help interpret language. Makes you wonder where we are going with all this - writing about what we fear most - death, women, the past, the future, fathers, may I say - etc. A feeding frenzy...

I am sooo glad you included the definitions here. For a minute there I was feeling like a thick tongued drunkard, slipping over his own words.
I would have been lost without a dictionary on this one. But looking over it the second time, after reading what each word means, I can appreciate the meaning you have infused with so few words. Good luck in your contest!
