cry of pride

I stare down at the tear stained pew
these tears came from missing you
silently i fret
hoping i wouldn't soon regret
never hugging you good bye
for i can always see the kindness in your eye
i could never converse with you alone
or even talk on the phone
couldn't say i miss you
as you went and flew
ignorant in all my pride
my feelings i start to hide
if only we could talk
am i afraid you would mawk
i love you, don't you know
id hope to let it show
its not easy for me to do
for now all i can do is cry upon this pew

    OUCH! this was sad... it was a very emotional and touching piece... i liked the story behind this piece! unrequited love is a torturous thing aint it! this is an awesome pice filled with great imagery, brilliant metaphors and so-not-forced rhyme! Great job! and best of luck in the contest! >.<

    this was so sad. i'm really sorry u had to expreriance something so sad and heart breaking.... this was beautifully written and had alot of emotions...this was as deathless said heartfelt and touching. this alos made me wanna cry, great write

    A poem that hits an emotional cord. Unrequited love. The most painful of all. Wonderfully expressive poem that is easy to relate to. Well done dear poet.
