Pain Inside My Shriveling Heart

There is a pain inside that I can't control,
Neither can I comprehend what it really is,
The tears are welling up in my eyes,
And it's all I have not to cry.

Another year and a valentines has gone by,
My love is in another state with my heart,
Maybe this is the pain that I can not stop,
It all wells up inside until I begin to rot.

The days go by slower and slower,
Night seems like it will never end,
Yet the day is forver long as well,
I need you here my love it just hurts so bad.

We fight and we grumble and the pain goes on,
Though we love each other deeply,
It kills me to fight with you as with you too I'm sure,
So why do we continue to cause each others pain?

I will stay by your side forever and a day,
This problem of our fights can subside,
If we just believe in each other it will be gone,
I love you now and I'll love you then.
