Pink glitter falls from the sky,
over the bright lights of Hollywood.
Plastic beauty is glamour's high.
Bubble-gum whores in Never Land.
Baby girl buys herself a piercing
and a lace cigarette for Alice too,
we paid less for her soul, it's fitting
the shining stars of Never Land.
Variations on stripping, out to the club
miniskirts from scanty sluts,
and toxics purged by a shrub.
This is the life of Neverland.
Glitter, glamour, and Hollywood, darling
my bubble-gum barbie friends have misplaced
under starry eyes, a lipgloss tube, glimmering
beneath the lights of tinsel town, away to Never Land.
Faeire Dust or Pixie Dust,
neither can save Neverland Now.

Oh, very good. This is the sort of poem where the combination of words work together beautifully to invoke a feeling. Sort of a surreal pity/disgust, for all the sense that makes. The second and third stanza were my favorite. Great job on this piece. I picked it rather randomly, but I'm glad I did.

I just love the first line to this poem, it is so fitting for hollywood... i also really like.."we paid less for her soul, it's fitting the shining stars of Never Land." I love the humour, and the descriptions of a plastic city... very cleverly done, well done!!
