Carving out an atmosphere
On a stage of spoiled splendor
Responding to a touch of glass
Witness to a death of class
So brutal, yet, so tender
Are you a hypocrite allure
A taste of what looks pure
Maybe a nightmare stare
To flash of violence that tempts me
A cruelty that can unspeakably
Make of time a thoughtless blur
Calling, calling,
Waiting, screaming,
Aimlessly hoping
Cleaning my conscience
Begging to be worthy
Of what I barely know
Would it be worth it?
I don't even think so
I want what won't be owned
I need what feels wrong
The potential failure
Boils in my lecher's veins
I need a lover's pains
To disprove my heart's claims
That I can love what loves me back
And want what I can fairly have
In essence, I'm a hopeless dreamer
And you're the spotlight feature
My torturous fantasy sender
My unattainable, relentless neverender.
Please tell me what you think

Superb, romantic; intriguing.
Wow, a fantastic write, brings back warm and fuzzy memories of past affairs. Well written indeed with excellant imagery.

Awesome poem, has a great effortless pace to it, its almost breathless. i love the last two lines, imaginative and original. I really like this, it is quite vague and almost rambly, which is what makes it work. Very rich and dreamy. Altogether a stunning piece of writing
