There's a crime,
I have done.
There's a place,
I have gone.
There's a sight,
I have seen.
There's a man,
I have been.
There's a light,
now I'm blind.
There's the dark,
I'm afraid.
A tower,
That I climbed.
There's a train,
In the sky.
Took a road,
That's cliche.
It's a life,
and I died.
A poem,
and I cried.
A tiger,
with no claws.
There's a brain,
With one law.
There's a crime,
of the mind.
And the crime,
It is love.

3 syllables
There are exactly 3 syllables in every single line. 6 syllables in every stanza. Look closely into the brain with a law and the crime is love. its symbolic. Ill explain it if you dont see it. Within everyones mind someone is hurt (and the brains law, a.k.a human nature, is to lead away from hurtful situations or try to avoid them. But everyone gets into love or relationships and its kind of like a crime to the only law in your mind. Theres another aspect of that too. Everyone at one point is hurt by one thing or another in love. And everybody has a their own law, or hope in their mind and that hope is discouraged or broken, like a broken law thus being a crime, by some outcome of love. The crime itself is love because love is everything! and out of everything comes nothing, many things but nothing worth your while. Including pain. -
nice job on this one!
