subtracting seconds from infinity
searching for my loss of creativity
looking for waves of poetic expression
words of my dreams hidden impression
adding up the forgotten emotion
reality found in the commotion
profundities begin to descend
as I can no longer pretend
or deny the things that burn inside me
a battle of a long hidden insercurity
finally defeating despair of the past
as light on my hope has been cast
unwinding my minds twisted road
the words now have been bestowed
found in life's simple calculations
past additions and timely subtractions.

Beautifully Amazing!
Shawdows-stars
You left me a little speechless as I read your beautiful and heartfelt poem. The ryhme and the flow is brilliant. The words you chose are excellent
You managed to do something very special that I am looking for. You brought out the beautity of writing, poetry and mathematics. This is VERY IMPRESSIVE and VERY CREATIVE!
You gave both poetry and mathematics a deep emotional look at life, which I found AMAZING. There are so many parts that are excellent, it's difficult to for me to name my favorite.
I adored the ending,
"as light on my hope has been cast
unwinding my minds twisted road
the words now have been bestowed
found in life's simple calculations
past additions and timely subtractions."
Very, very beautiful!
Thank you for your entry!
Good luck in the contest!
