suspended too long
on strings of doubt,
a thousand stars melt
like watercolours pouring
from Aquarius’ hands;
each becomes a shimmer
of beauty’s desperation,
shooting past withered horizons,
sprawled on grass
like broken branches;
faint and frail.
Author notes
This is my take on anorexia and suicide, but what would I know about that, really.

"a thousand stars melt

--I really love these few lines ... really pretty and glittery (glitter without the glam whores, yay, finally ) lovely. I think your writing is different and I like how you don't venture off elsewhere ... it's well structured and put together. I admire that.
