For every dream that’s burned
There is the flutter of a thousand pieces
Sent out into the great dark sky
To land and become food for other dreams.
For every love that’s become ash
There is a warm ash reminder in pit
Of stomach like an ulcer,
A canker, a cancer leaving its deep burn.
No quench of heat, no balm for blister
But another kiss even from cold lips.

Hmmm
This is actually pretty good, I love the way you portrayed the picture in your own way. Wonderful ideas, deep and full of thought. Brilliant job. Your word choice was good also, along with the flow. Wonderful job and thank you for entering. I wish you the best of luck!!
