My Pet Moose . .

Missing image

I had a pet

His name was Bruce

He was a full-grown

Northern Moose

He loved to frolic

And charge about

And when he did

I used to shout

Look Out. . Look Out

Here come Bruce !

He weighs 200 pounds

With the strength of Zeus

If your up ahead . .

And you are in his way

My sincere advice  . .

You’d better pray

***

There’s nothing in the world

That is more frightening

Then a 200 pound Moose

With the speed of lightening

Although I adored him

He’s not here today . .

For his merriment ended

in a tragic way

He charged onto the highway

As I recall . .

Now his head is hanging

On someone's wall !

LOL, where is the humor in a moose getting hit, Albert?! This animal lover thinks its twisted humor =]Very creative.

You must have known I need a laugh (he-he).

Love the humour and clever rhyming flow in this, dear Albert. Though ridiculously silly, you ascribed this magically muse in your usual masterful way.

    Regards, ~Milly

    Good

This is a nice and simple poem. It is also clever with a witty ending. Good work.
