but she has no friends
and her family hates her
She's only in elementary school
and already has no future
but that almost changed
She finally made a friend
and her friend knew
and this friend told her dad
This little girl
got her dad to understand
her new friend
He knew what to do
but it was too late
Alyssa doesn't lie anymore
She doesn't have to hide
her bruises
anymore
"Alyssa lies with Jesus
because there's nothin'
that anyone would do"
She died
because no one would help her
and it was too late for the one that tried
Author notes
"Alyssa Lies" by Jason Michael Carol
I don't know how to spell his name, but I love this song. It's like "Concrete Angel" by Martina McBride because in that one. the little girl was beat to death by her mother, but she had an angel with her. She didn't know he was an angel, but he was there to help her. In the end, he couldn't so he took her home to Jesus with the other kids that was beat to death. This is pretty much the same thing, but I don't know if Alyssa's friend was an angel to help her or what, but it's still an awesome song.

beautifully Sad
I feel the emotion in this sad story and the beauty of its expessed tradgedy. I dont know what more can be said for abuse but I pray for all those whom endure this in life and all those who die from its pain....This is sad and beautiful all at the same time
Hugs

I can relate to it a lot because I was abused
when I was little and to this day, I wish that I died. I"d give anything to trade places with the kids that us beat to death.
